So, what have I been doing. School’s out and I’m waiting on the 18th August to decide my fate. Results day feels like light years away.
To bide my time, I’ve been volunteering at an Oxfam charity shop in Sheffield a few days a week. It’s primarily books – which makes for a happy Beth. Other than working, I’ve taken my new man horse riding, I’ve been clay pigeon shooting with my best bud, visited Malton with my family, sunbathed in Whitby and sailed on a pirate ship. I’ve been on so many trains recently I’m collecting the tickets ready for scrapbooking! I’ve bought a beautiful Peter Rabbit scrapbook that’s just waiting eagerly to be drawn in!
After saying I’d be writing so much after A levels, this blog post pretty much sums up the majority of my work towards that. Now August is looming, and I have a trip to Scotland to focus on travel writing, it’s time to get my butt in gear. Cause ya’no what? Bitches get stuff done. (..stole that from Tina Fey)
All these train journey’s get me writing. There’s something about good views and literally having no distractions apart from friendly people sitting next to you. The thing with a train is, you can’t procrastinate and go get food, because there is no where to go but out the door. And that’s not a good place to be. It’d be very sad – and sad spelt backwards is das, and das not good.
To conclude, UCAS have sent me tampons. Why? I could never answer that.
For everyone else, have a fabulous Sunday. Have a cup of positivitea. You got this.
